Improving the Patient Journey in Healthcare

Envisioning what better healthcare outcomes could look like, powered by AI, cloud services, and personal technology.

Using Personal Technology to Drive Better Patient Outcomes

Reducing the cost of healthcare in the United States doesn’t need to come at the expense of consumers or providers. One of the main ways to improve healthcare for everyone is by changing behavior. This work was done through Dark Matter on behalf of a major nationwide healthcare system as part of their venture and innovation group. It involved extensive quantitative research as well as desk research from sources such as the CDC, Pew Foundation, The Kaiser Family Foundation, and US Census examining the complex ways families interact with healthcare, and ways to shift behavioral change and engagement with emerging technologies and logistics platforms.
